And Iīm not talking about myself
Iīm talking about the one and only bigandymac who was so kind and made a remix of one of my songs.
Itīs called Troublemaker, so check it out and tell us what you think.
The whole credit goes to him actually, cause I just delivered the raps and the scratching.
He did an awesome job on the instrumental as usual.
You can say itīs my first collabo with someone from the madtracker commmunity and again I wanna say thx to bigandymac!

Yepz this one has the "Andy magic" in it.
Great collab!

I have to disagree on that one, coz producing with a good flowing vocal that fits into the beat is much easier, so U got the creditz for that one anyways
This track is another example which great things can happen when creative (madtracker) ppl get together , i love it !
cheers,

I think you both are amazing.
I love this track, it has a lot of power in it. Perhaps one of the best MT2 songs I've heard so far. Not my style at all, but this song is a song that's a perfect example for what you can do with this program. Marvellous. |

thanks everyone for commenting.
i totally agree franklin, the flow of the lyrics made this remix really easy, for inspiring a rhythm and the tune itself.
thanks nine! i dont normally listen to hip hop much (apart from the obvious, like jurassic 5 or people under the stairs), but i do like the flow of hip hop and the fact that it is essentially atonal makes it good material for remixes.
im listening now and i think it turned out pretty good anyway.
cheers

The strings are just gorgeous. They give this epic, dramatic touch to the sound. You might try to get the climax at the end even further by adding one or more layers of classical sounds (horns? violin? something that drifts on top of the strings). In any case a very strong and convincing piece of music and one of the most successful collaborations I've heard so far!
One point of feedback: there are some occassional crackles when the voice changes from the filtered version to the real version. Maybe a clipping issue on the mixing of vocals? |

i hear the crackle only when i have my headphones on. i think i over compressed the vocal (if you turn down the gain it should get rid of the problem chief).
glad you like it inge.
cheers

Amazing! I'm not a hiphopper but this..... this.... wow! Whenever something professional sounding comes out of madtracker I'm quite impressed every time. I'd like to have a look at the MT2, if possible? |
