 |
I finally got my core 2 system, since my older system didnt allow me to finish any of my songs (I use a lot of vst's) I now decided to release something that is not final but it's still worth a listen I think. If you feel relaxed after having listening to my tune i'm happy =) Any feedback is ofcourse welcome. If you like it or hate it let me know, cheers!

Sounds tight when it comes to sounds. The kick is something like "why can't I make that kind of kick" and the percussions are clean (why can't I-percussion). Well the mixing seems nice overall. Though at least with my speakers there's too much bass. I'm having some hard time listening the whole piece.
The mood I like, melodies rock. There's some happier stuff combined with more melancholic melodies. It's monotonic indeed, maybe a bit too much so in the long run, but goes well for example in the bed or in the background when feeling down (at least once a day). Definitely a decent piece. |

I agree Ravana, so I fixed it =) The track has been updated and I opened up the pads a bit and equalized the bass for the better. The bassline has also been fixed, a much better sound experience now I think. Thanks!
Yes the tune is for sleeping, relaxing, meditation etc... For those chilled out moments. ^^ Same link as before. |

The track by itself is a really good base , i'm missing something like a main lead, maybe for the arrangement a bridge/break to make it less repetive.
As for the beat it's a really nice beat althoug it gets a bit too repetive for my taste after a while.
This all could be just my taste |

Yes it is, but thats my intention since the mind is supposed to get relaxed. It's for relaxation/meditation. =) |

i like the beat, although shuffling it round a bit through the track would be cool (i recently found out about a plugin called glitch which would be good for that).
the pads i found really annoying, they just drone on with no movement at all. with pads i usually automate cutoff/resonance/distortion or add a phaser or panning filter which seems to work.
the melodies i like, they are pretty chilled out, and i like the portamento on there.
overall, a nice track, and very cleanly produced, maybe just a little empty |
