Voices remember me "Pet Shop Boys" (one of the best, for me). The lyrics rythm remember me some of the Beatles (es, rare thing jaja!).
Sounds perfect. I think it's a professional high quality, the piano sound is perfect, and the delay it's enought, perfect for this piano.
The "line-plip" initial sound at the background I think is one of the thing I like the most. With that strings, enchance the track.
The kick sounds with high and low frecuencies, and the rest of the batery I think it's one of the "Classic rock-pop bateries", so personally speaking I think you had have a good election using it.
<<---->>
I would like to know what kind of VST (VSTe & VSTi) have you use on it to do that "professional" sound on the track. |

real life is "real nice"
One thing though, i wanted a little more with the lyrics... Sometimes i was waiting for... maybe more rhyming, or more variation in the chorus... |

Ok I'll go straight down to it. I don't think it's good. I'll try to give some constructive critism anyway.
1. The piano, sounds synthetic and plastic by it self. Some reverb maybe?
2. Drums. The hats are to hectic for me. Still drums are overall quite good.
3. Lack of catch. You didn't capture me the way a pop song has to.
4. Vocals. Sounds like they're recorded in a box.
Some sound and melody things work out. But they're not my style.
There you have it. Now I feel like a dick. |

i think the concept is good. the tune i like as well. maybe i could suggest a few things.
id change the drums, make the kick deeper, the snare higher and snappier.
the piano is too muddy at the moment, its covered up by the string i think. so id remove the string, or set it up an octave and have it much quieter.
have you gone for a radio sound on the vocal? if so you need to drop the resonance on the filter cos youve got some pretty bad clipping.
the bass could be way deeper.
try a lead sound, like a screechy saw, then use some portamento on it. like frazze says, it needs a hook, doesnt have to be a vocal though.
anyway, i like the tune. with a few tweaks it could sound really good. |

Thanks for all the comments!
Regarding the vocals, as I said they are recorded using a headset mic connected to a crappy mobo built in soundcard, that's where the clipping comes from.. I tried to hide it with alot of effects
I'll take your advice into consideration ;D Thank you for the tips! All of you

Au contraire to Frazze, I think this is real nice!
But I should say it's more synth, and only a little bit pop.
Actually, I don't have anything bad to say about this atm.
The piano is a little low quality.
Melodies, your voice and the beat suits perfectly.
Great tune! |
