My guess is that this problem is related to the VST not Madtracker. However, if you a absolutely sure the VST works, you may want to try different audio settings for your soundcard within MT. This is only guessing on my part though...

Here it doesn't make MT crash, but it does silence my entire system. The plugin automatically chooses an ASIO-device, and therefore muting the normal wave player. Choosing another device from within the plugin results in nothing; Winamp for instance simply does not want to play back anything anymore.
The plugin is an alpha, and - from what I can make from this experience - seems not to be bugfree at the moment.
Thanks for the reply's.
I have tried the plug in using chainer as a standalone vst host.
The plug in works fine then.
When i open chainer in madtracker and try to open the vst plugin from within chainer it freezes as well.
The plug in works fine in most other vst hosts, so there must be a compatability issue somehow.
Is there anyway to find out what is causing this crash cq freeze? (It crashes when i open the plug-in directly in mt2)
It would be great to see asio or direct sound input working in mt2
