Hello people,

been playing with some stereotype breabbeat/d&b samples today & made this loop basically..but now my ears are numb for listening it nonstop on the headphones. Need to know the lowdown on the bass, check it here :

The lowdown on the bass? Er... Well... It could be less stronger, I think. That's it? Well... I kind of like the piece, not the melodical intruments but the beat-section.

The bass is good but also - grumbly, and grumpy..

This is fine and not unusual, although it does not sound
very live.

I would take that grumble and slowly traverse between
a pleasing bass, or some other sound, and mix up to the
grumble; perhaps keeping in mind your hand on a synths
mod-wheel.

great drum programming as always. the bass is nice and meaty, only thing is the track seems very lofi, no shiny high frequencies in it. i thought it might be a symptom of the conversion to mp3, but its 320kb so maybe your mix is a bit off.
other than that though it sounds great.

cheers

Yeah, I think I know the track that you mean on Rossz Csillag Alatt

Let me guess.... the end of Hajnal? You need an Amen Break to do the rip off properly Laughing

What can I say? Do your own thing. Razz

VSnares is Venetian Snares? Isn't that the IDM composer that uses Fasttracker for his songs?

Anyway nice track, I don't know the original, but it sure as hell sounds great.
