this is a cool track. the beats in particular are great, complex and with some interesting transitions and samples.
the vocal also is great, ive never heard it before, but it fits well over the track.
i think on the buildup you should stick in some subtle sub bass up to the big bassline (which rules btw, what did you make it with?) as it felt a little empty up till then.
cheers

yes you're right..
it's because i only added some dirty raw distortion to it without any kind of compression ore eq. and i also need to change some of the mod env. events to create more punch.
when i'm going to add more subbass to it, as like it is in this condition, it's only just going to make it sound more worse then it already is right now, i think.
anyway..
keep you informed in case of new progress to the track.
thanks for the comments and cheers

Haha! This must be one of the most frequently remixed tracks on earth by now. There is ofcourse already a drum 'n bass version, although such a jungle/dub/tech step version is new to me.
Your drums could use some clarity; it sounds like I'm listening to a bad tape. Especially the closed hihat lacks high freqs, which removes some of the drive and speed from the track. The hoover synth is massive; as Andy asked, where did you make it in? It definately needs a sub bass, because now it's just hollow layering. Spor or Noisia would nevertheless instantly steal that lead synth from you. |

since it is not yet entirely finished I also haven't been really busy yet with the final mix and the dynamics in my drums & percussion. but about the hoover.. i dont understand what can be wrong with it (its phat as hell) ..but near the end also there appears a heavy tweaked distortion bass sound i play around with, this one indeed needs to get more sub and punch.
anyway, thanks for your comments and i will check out the points you just noticed the next time i continue workin'
on this ome.
cheers
