people, what do you think of this track... it's just a start.. but.. well let me know what i can/have to change http://xiphiuz.madtracker.net/xiphiuz_try.mp3 btw.. the arp in the beginning isn't finished.. there are even some false notes :/

hi mate. apart from the off notes in the intro this is a really cool track. it actually reminds me of slusnik luna - sun, the big chord hits, but thats a good thing. the chord progression is really nice, especially the first few chords, and the last couple, they make the whole sequence link together really nicely. the bassline is cool, although i would also stick in a sub bass (with triangle II) and sidechain compress it with the kick. over the top of the chord hits i would stick an arp in, and also, later in the track reinforce them with another instrument doing the same thing, but detuned or covering another octave. the perc is simple but nice, especially the subtle snare i like. anyway, cool tune, maybe i could remix it when youre finished? cheers andy

Cool track. I feel like it needs either a breakbeat or a strutter of the lead chords. The ending leaves you hanging too. This sound like something I might want to remix too.

I agree with Andy, (how could it be different ) The track has a great potential, in the (early) version i miss some things the track sounds a bit empty imo, maybe some reverbed background actions could fill it more up in the higher regions and make this one more "dreamy". on a arrangement level , great potential, simple but effective drum programming , great uplifting chords, so nothing but good.
