I like the intro very much with the percussion 'n stuff. It gets a little muddy with the rhodes-thingy though. But the melodies are real nice and the overall mood Smile

And maybe you should try mix the vocals into the track a little more, maybe give them the sound of being a little more distant. They steal too much attention as it is now, and kinda ruins the mood for a while there.

I'm still tryin to figure out what you don't like about the snaredrum Razz

@ StyrmanLjungberg
If your talking about the melodie of the rhodes your right, there not solid. Í think i'm going to change that along with the vocals. With the vocals i was trying to do create a feeling like people were on a journey, bij putting the music on the background and the vocals standing out. Didn't turn out as i hoped though

The Invincible was cool. Not much to say on the track then, really...

.. listening

Recocnizes some vsti presets Wink

-Some of the pads in the background seem to have some off-notes, When the sweep comes in @ 0:25 some heavy off-note action is hearable , nothing that can't be easly fixed though.
The track has some little mixing issues also, the beat is somewhat loud comparing to the synths.
The vocals are great for this kind of production , only they scream for some effects (automated delay/reverb-ing, maybe a touch of vocodering to experiment with ?) ..

Try to get rid of the standard vsti presets by modyfying them a bit to your own style, solve the "offnote-ish" sounds ( i think the lead pad (bell like thing) is the main reason that it (seem to) sound(s) off sometimes. Focus a bit on the mixing, maybe a subbass layer (triangle II or so) to fill up the lower regions, play with the vocals give them some dreamish fx to fit in better in the genre of the track.

I hope u can do something with this feedback Wink

Have fun ...

Franklin

i really like the track up to about 1:25 where the high melody comes in, it sort of detracts from the chilled out vibe somehow.

percussion is cool, the bass is quite nice also, it suits the track nicely.
on the vocal, i think ducking the volume of the track while it is playing sounds a bit weird, it would be better to try and mix it in i think.

other than that i like it, its got a good vibe overall, the percussion is interesting and the synths are pretty good also.

cheers

andy

First of all thnx for the comments, looks like i got some serious changing to do Razz

@ Franklin van Uden,
Yeah i used the bell sound (pad) from z3ta, looks like i gatta set the parameters a bit... the bell sound follows up with a pad, i think the pad comes in to late. about the mixing issues, i think i listened to it to much Smile

@ bigandymac,
yeah i was planning on doing something different with the vocals, i guess it sounds worse then i thought Razz

Anyway i'm going to take this baby for a carwash

Just follow your instinct and listen what u like best, it is your track anyways, use the feedback as a guideline Smile

Nothing wrong with using presets, but in this track the presets stand out a bit, but that can be me knowing 80% of all the zeta presets by heart Very Happy.. anyways a bit of experimenting with the presets couldn't harm a bit just play with the filtering, effects etc., u know what i mean Wink

About the mixing issues , just give it a rest after finishing and listen it after a couple of days, then give the downmix a go, works for me anyways.

Good luck Smile
