Hi Everyone again,

Been very busy, learning mucho more on madtracker and having a great time too. I'm proud of this track, took me a while to actually think of what I needed to do, in changing from my first attempt, lol.

I hope you all like it. Comments Welcome of course Smile

I know this track might not be everyone's preferred style of music, but I have heard many tracks, with this atmosphere.

I'm really looking for some feedback, if its bad (off note, clashing sounds, etc). If there is something horrible off with it, I would like to know and learn.

At first when I arrived here, I found the forum to be very helpful. Other Madtrackers were enthusiastic to hear my music. I registered Madtracker, because I found it to be an awesome WINDOWS sequencer.

I love Music, ever since I could remember. I like almost any type of music as well. Tracking is something I love to do and I plan to stick around, to learn, share and enjoy new traxx made by unique and talented artists.

When I started this track, I used a few SuperWave's, Synth VSTs and some samples I found to have good sound. Recently, I just received the No.1 Instruments Mazzive Injections by Max Sound Tools. NOW I have some awesome samples, instruments, SF2 and VS3 files. I have the equipment to make some awesome music.

Thanks for reading, and please enjoy your week!

Cheers,
TigerK

ok meng. im listening now.

this is neat. i could hear this in an adventure video game. i can hear the theme you're trying to bring out... but you do have chords that clash with the melody. but, this could also be what you are trying to do.

to be honest. you're just starting... and right now this sounds good to you. and thats good. i say be satisfied for now. you'll learn more about chord progressions and such as you practice.

but... i do hear the melody and understand what feeling you're trying to achieve here. and it seems promising.

haha. i like the explosion at the end.

p.s. when you first start, your tracks usually only sound good to you. because your mind is organizing itself to bring out what you feel and think. you just have to keep organizing your mind. listen to this. Hurtin.mt2
its my very first song. i keep it to remind myself that musical talent does in fact develop in a matter of time. plus... it gives me a good laugh now and again. and... yours is muuuch better than my first 'song' i would have to say.

I guess we all started like that.

Keep on practicing, check some other mt2´s to see what effects are possible.

Check out different styles.

Try to do a track with a basic melody, like a refrain...

Thank you for the replies. I listened to your song Elijah, it was very thoughtful and pushed up my spirits some. I see what you are saying. I have been expecting way too much from myself and learning to take it easy considering how much I love to make music. Slowly working on a new track. But you are right, most of these tracks I create are stepping stones. I'm learning lots.

CheifRocka, I've listened to some mt2, as I got more familiar with MT2, it was must easier to see how they were making certain sounds, but some things I couldn't hear or see. I would solo a track to hear its effect or sound and nothing would come but there were notes there. I found some mt2 have sound eminating from tracks where the notes are not places, and some sound with effect on different track (which effect the track with the notes) If you can understand that.

There are a few things I still need to figure out with MT2.

honestly man, every song you ever make is a stepping stone, im still making stepping stones, and hope i always will be, whats the point of making a song that sounds like one you've already done right?.

keep it up, i cant wait to hear your new song...

oh. and to answer your question...

when a track is on solo mode sound will be produced from that track providing all the tracks its routed through are unmuted as well.

eg. on a 16 track song...

track 4 is the melody, and track 16 is the reverb. usually people will route more than 1 track through a reverb track because it saves resources.

you can see to which track it is routed by bringing up the mixer. and at the bottom of the 4th track it sould say "Track 16 - verb" or something. while other tracks say "Master" at the bottom.
