this is a quality track, like elijah said the 80s sound is great (the orchestra stabs and vocal samples etc). the female vocal is also really cool.
technically its really good as well. there is some clipping on the rap, thats a symptom of too much gain applied to it. try a different compressor or a limiter.
i love the way the mood evolves throughout as well. great stuff mate. |

I really enjoyed listening to this. Since the rap and hip hop thingy doesn't usually do the trick for me, thats the compliment right there.
But, I was really disappointed about the redundant "scratches" all over the track. Made it, for me, a little annoying listening to at times. With this I dont mean that the sound is bad, only that one should be careful using distinct samples too much.
Oh, I miss the 80's sound sometimes. I wonder when its comming back....  |
