When I want to clear/delete the patterns by "Edit-Delete-Patterns" the tracks' names are deleted as well (doesn't make sense, since the instruments are still on that channel in VST mode). What about asking for deleting the tracks' names?

True! This is something that might be good to fix actually! (Not really a code bug, but I guess it could be a quite annoying design bug sometimes..)
