Dude! Just hearing the intro now, and i'm hoping you can live up to the promise. This sounds very nice!

Hmmm... Why the cheezy trance????? Also, why the illogical kickdrum variations. They don't really make sense to me.

Yeah sorry, you had me with the intro, then the trancy stuff came in. Probably it would still do good in front of a trancy audience, but i would have liked it if you would have kept it more tech then trance.

what is hip?

gerne bashing ? whatever.. I always hoped people here liked music for music. I guess most of us do. on to the review.

The track is well mix, even mastered (but then I just woke up and this happens to be the first song I've listened to today so hard to say). All the levels are even and the changes in the song are mostly reflective of that. I do hear one thing its lacking though, a punchy bassline, although I do hear low arpeggio sequences It doesnt really seam like a solid bass. To me its more like a medium level harmony. other then that, this is a pretty average track in the gerne.

overall, nothing really special but the production is sound. will still get people dancein' at clubs.

Starts of quite interesting, but soon (at 2 minutes) drops into a rather clichematic (a nice typo here would be 'enigmatic' Wink) trance track. All well composed and mixed, sounds really convincing, but in desperate need of real creativity and identity.

Inge (who - ofcourse - knows literally nothing about trance, and might therefore miss the point that trance is not in search of identity, creativity, and progressive ideas)

Thank you all!

I think i will keep the track just like this...
Maybe I will make a remix sometime, mostly I donŽt do remixes of my own work, but weŽll see... (This summer as mentioned earlier, iŽve got some time left hehe)

BTW, IŽve send the track to Marcel Woods (a big Dutch DJ/Producer), he liked it very much. One problem: I donŽt have enough (quality) material to fill a whole 12" :S

writing as I hear...

Nice start, great groove on, but something seems out of phase, don't know what, maby the shaker or something, it's quite distracting. Breakdown, this melody seems very familiar, but it's nice! After the break the melody kinda sinks in the percussion, maby having it stand out a bit more will improve that bit, adding a bit of attack will do the trick I guess, right now it's all so fluffy wuffy Wink

The bassline rules btw, I would even make it drive more by aplying more compression ( linked with the kick ). But that's my taste Smile ( I like the tech-house edge of the percussion )

Keep it up!
