Same here. It behaves this way if you have any of the gains in that channel set to something else than 0. I guess you should look at the eq on-button more like the channel on-button. It's a temporary bypass, not something used to permanently remove or add something to the track.
hmmm should be disabled when i :
open the mixer and i press the eq button so it gets dark again = disabled or bypass or whatever and i save it
its ok...
BUT when i reload it here comes the eq on again
