This is a remake of the Level 1 song from Capcom's arcade game Mercs.... You'll need GlaceVerb and VOPM plug-ins.

VOPM emulates the Yamaha 2151 chip that was in the majority of all 80's and 90's arcade games like Double Dragon, Shinobi, Bad Dudes, 720 Degrees....etc
Not the easiest synth to work with but I love the damn thing.

Hehe, I've been tracking for a year now and I still can't make something like this, so well done. I really like chiptune/retro music.. It makes me feel warm.
I downloaded the VST by the way, haven't looked at it yet. |

Don't let VOPM scare ya, it's confusing but also very cool. It's got a unique sound. I'd say after messing with it for quite a few months I've got only a basic understanding of how it works now.... Doesn't help that the website is japanese |

LOL, forgot to mention... I did a remake of Ocean Splash from Outrun with Impulse Tracker a few years ago...it was actually the first song remake I'd ever done
Look for Momor's Runout, it's a game that was made for a contest that is a remake of Outrun. |
