Ive got my first alias (element) for a house project im starting work on. ive got the beginning of (imo) a decent track but im kind of stuck and need a bit of help if possible.
http://am1.madtracker.net/element_shadow_edit.mp3
the track is called shadow and is basically chilled out deep house. ive got about 4 mins, but then cant decide where to go after that. i thought maybe an acid line, or some chicago house chords or something but cant seem to get anything to work properly. any suggestions? or comments on the track so far?
thanks in advance

It's hard to tell how to continue this one. The track has some nice and relaxing ambient things. I like that there's no over the top explicit main thing, but that it's just a nice drifting tune. It's like the mellow brother of Vince Watson. I don't think you should increase the track length. Why would you? If you do, then just increase small things (like the things you proposed; some acid or even a fusion-alike synth solo), since it can continue for a long time anyway due to its deephouse character. |

thanks for the help. i think i just needed to take a back seat for a few hours and listen to some different music. ive added some mid range percussion and developed the pianos further over the next few patterns.
all the pianos were done using edirol orchestral vst and took me a long time to get right.
cheers
andy
just a quick tip, on the percussion i used xcita on the high frequencies which gives them a nice "shimmer" (cant think of a better word). |

Super sweet tune you've got there!
I don't think you have to do anything with it! |

Again very late...I´m sorry!
I don´t know what to say, M8!
But I think you never gonna disappoint me with a track of yours.
I really liked everything I heard from you so far!
This contains some different style indeed...this track is different than the ones I heard from you but you did a great job on this one too.
Very chilly and danceable at the same time!
I kinda can´t review all details of this track cause there´s nothing I woudl complain about and I just like it in the whole! |
