I was a bit hesitant but i don't think that theres very much summermode in there, especialy when the theme enters. Try warm and aocustic sounds.
The song is nice! Like the bass but the theme isn't that good. I would go for a faster theme that mixes more with the groovy feel of the song. And I wouldn't go with that hard string.
its a bit like early acid house, from the hacienda days. did you mean to do that? i quite like it. i think its interesting and you emulated the theme well. although instead of the saw melody you should put in some gated/floaty/moving pads.
