Real nice flow and like the vocals, only it's hard to hear what they say...

the pads are a simple albino 3 patch. ive automated the distortion saturation, cutoff, the filter cutoffs and the resonance on them though.
i kept the vocal quiet as it is repeated so much, it says "wherever i go, i lose control". not particularly lyrically complex Wink glad you like.

I do really like the intro, it sets the mood right on. There's no chance you can escape it, so catchy! Makes me imagine myself drifting in space! ^^

The drums are super, as always! Very Happy

I like that epiano-ish thing that enters at around 1/6 of the song (don't have any time, listening with QT in firefox).

Overall, I think it's wonderful. The mood is just perfect.

Something that would do perfect in a scene like the crazy house club dancing scene in the first Matrix Razz Haha.. that's the images poping up in my head anyway. People jumpin' around in slo-mo in some weird club as two people walk though it, one that's never been there, and another (a girl) that's taking him somewhere! Razz

That was to point out the fact that your music awakens my imagination. And thats sooo great! I think that's part of what music's for! Very Happy

What can I say. Love it. Release the whole album soon! ;P

Cool Cool a new andy track , and this time for the girls 2 Wink .

Okay seriously:

Nice atmosperic pads at the start , nice arp buildups together with a smooth bassline. The percussion that starts is really good, the beat kicks in and gives the track the drive it needs, great break elements (as usual), maybe the snare is a tiny bit to "dirty" for my taste, but that could be my headphone !!
The melodies and moving pads are a great combination, they seem to compliment each other perfectly in the wider range of frequencies. The big break is awesome (maybe i bit loud, but again, crappy headz don't make me laugh anymore Wink
The vocal fits in perfectly, i would make the vocal a tiny bit louder (+0.2 give and take). maybe some camelspace fx on them (automated) to make them less static (just an idea Wink)
Oh yeah i love the 303 in it !!!
Overall again a top notch production as usual, u seem to find the genre that fits you perfectly lately, keep on doing this great stuff !!!

Franklin ...

Music ... is endless ... Work in progress ...

I'd like to know what you do with the wave file(s?) when you export... what program(s) are used for postproduction?

Also... Some pointers for how to make those sweeps that remove saturation and just become white noise would be cool..

Ok.... I didn't think I'd say this but..... It's too short! Smile This track would suit better as a thirty minute marathon! Keep me in trance...

thanks very much everyone, this track seems to have had a good reception as well. im looking forward to completing the album.
@ franky - some good tips in there, im trying out the automation on the vox now (actually theres some serious nitro on there but it doesnt seem that noticeable).
@ souleye - tbh i do most of my "mastering" in madtracker. then use t-racks to get a little compression and limiting in there (just to get a decent volume through the track). i use a compressor, master q (basically an eq) and a saturator on the master in mt which does the trick pretty well.
the sweep is a band pass filter set over 4 bars and full width. all on a big saw pad arp, oh and with the resonance set high.
@ styrman - great to hear it sets your imagination going, i think thats a big part of music. this track is my favourite of mine, its really moody which i like, hypnotic, in fact its good for driving.

thanks again.

This I like.
Pads are awesome and overall the sound quality is great, really good mastering.
If you were looking for hypnotizing, you got it!

I find it very hard to make this kind of music, problem is to make endlessly pumping tracks without getting boring, but this is really cool, 8 minutes just past away.
As Styrman said, it could be a lot longer!

Only complaint is that when the big beat came, it might be a little messy, maybe cut some bassdrum-beats. But just in the beginning of it, later on I were'nt disturbed.

Might've been the best I've heard on this site
Very Happy

Wow!

Andy, the more I listen to one of your tracks the more I wanna ask you for another remixes or a collabo but I´m sure you r busy with your stuff Smile.

This one sounds excellent to me.
I like the drums a lot!

And actually everything else!
Nice tempo, athmosphere, pads, melodies etc.

You are indeed on an untouchable level, which means that I can´t find anything to complain about.

I wish that one day I´ll be able to produce music on a professional level like you do!

Awesome sound!

Done listening and I can say that this the best track you ever made!
Imma put this one on my ipod immediately.
Keep going and I wish you all the best...
I´m sure you gonna suceed on that path!!!

dude. good job meng. really engrossing like everybodhy says. wheres the vocal from?

this is going on my ipod for sure.

it kinda reminds me of the crystal method. and i really like the perspective to the pads that the bassline gives (does that make sense?).
