Right... I'm going to interpret this one freely! Don't take anything too seriously...
This is basically a "goodbye" message.
Sounds like it didn't end well, some bitterness and blame thrown around before ending it all, knowing you're not even going to talk again in the future...
Gnarly bitch, I don't understand how you put up with her for so long!
Sure there's a void, but that's just for being alone again, not really for parting with *HER*...
We have a part of the goodbye that says "oh I'm sorry, I didn't mean it, lets make up again", but that's fucked up by remembering some other shit that came between you before, and we're back to the cold, icy road to nowhere once again.
But ah, I see a light, it's.... it's..... yes... freedom! It's at the end of the tunnel... But what the f... the more I walk towards it, it seems be further and further away... And she's breathing down my neck all the time.
Agh.
I'm torn between hope and blackness. And all that remains... is a big pile of nothing. But I have my computer. And my music. So it will be all right.
Everything has been said. You're out of words. She slams the door.
It's over. |

to EXPERIMENTAL...
com'on!!! why you change to Trance/TechnoTrance style?? and WHY make you better trance than me ????jajaja
well...
i hope you only make some song like this and like "Base Free" and then "fly away" around this style
----
ABOUT --CHANGING FORTUNES--
The best of your songs, I think, is the Kick and the rest of the beats... The kick have much.. POWER...sounds very well...
good background/base sounds (i always say the same, to do good trance music, make good backgrouns/base sounds...)
maybe the end is not as good as i would like... i think the "typical thing" is "go to the end" in trance music like the "started" of the song....well, i don't know it is a good idea...but your song ending like a "other songs starting"...
at the end, your songs seems other kind of song...
----
Maybe one more point... you always star your songs with beats.... why
maybe try to star with...i don't know...with 1 melody with more reverb/ecos.... or maybe with strings and then with beats.. I DON't KNOW... all you want:P
----
And making that kind of music, if you want to "try" doing some TRANCE music with someone... HERE AM I!!! contact me whener you want (i always like making trance:P! !)

@ Souleye - genius! our breakup was actually pretty amicable. the track starts off quite moody, but gets happier, which is pretty much how i feel about the whole thing.
@ movaj - i didnt actually make this trance on purpose, i was gonna make some really moody prog house but got caught up in the tune. as for the intro and outro, thats done on purpose to make it easier for a dj to use in a mix. its a kick, some percussion and sometimes a bit of melody (no bass or chords or anything) which makes it really easy to cue up on decks and then crossfade (or whatever trickery) the two tracks together. |

Doing that, it better to make a good/perfect CDmusic( ) with the complete/original song, and then, include 1 extension song about that, and 2 or 3 files/songs with only the melody&string (withoug beats maybe) and others with only the beats and some background or similar...
(the dj's I know do that:P... and..I do that:P! ! ) |

Nah, I can't think of anything intellectual to say
Okay... Let's see.
The beat is nice in the start. Low-volume percussion and then small rises to the side of kick. Then slow-down and to the piece itself. Somehow I this time seem to find myself liking the kick. Hihat's are to me maybe a bit too high on volume. Repetitiveness soon strucks at me, at 2:00, and I'm waiting for some change here. Some minor thingies go on all the time and I try to focus on those. Almost very epic at 2:40+ for a second. Can't help but wonder how would it sound to add some rough distortion at the lead at that break. Then maybe gradually kill it down. The piece seems to clearly consist of different parts to me. A bit hm.. A bit not-good. The middle part is a bit disoriented I think. No clear goal. Overall a nice decent track and I guess I won't remove this from playlist when it comes up. |

Very good!
I love it!!!
As usual nice tunes and melodies...tracks never get boring even with that length!
Love the kicks and the breakbeat in the middle.
This is professional music for sure! |

Ok, that does it!
bigandymac is now officially my favorite biatsh
If i can say anything, maybe this song lacks a little "finesse". As ravana said, experimenting with distortion or something could be an idea. |
