Posted: Sat Jan 13 2007 18:43 Future State Records - Mine and Franlins label :D |
 |
hello everyone, its been a while since i posted anything here so i thought id post some music and some news.
franklin and i have undertaken a project of epic proportions, this is called Future State Records and is a progressive trance/house and big room trance label that works out of both the UK and the NL. we're getting on quite well with the various aspects of the label now so decided it was time to share the news with you. we've got a couple of artists working on tracks for our first release, and after much deliberation decided to also put one of our tracks on the first release as well:
the track started as a remix of Romance l'Amour, which Franklin assures me anyone who has studied music will have heard of (i havent as the only instrument i ever learnt was the recorder). Anyway, i have remixed franklins version of this this track in a prog trance style and uploaded a 3 min clip for you here:
http://www.am-1.co.uk/tracks/franklin_van_uden_trance_lamour_experiential_progressive_storm_rework_clip.mp3
any feedback on the track is very welcome as always. and we'll keep you posted on news of the label as things progress.
cheers

I´m very sorry that I didnt review earlier even I have that track on my HDD for some weeks.
A track of my two most favourite trance producers gotta be a top notch production and thats what this one is exactly!
Loving it from start to the end!
Melody, rhythm, synths etc....everything suits perfectly.
Good luck with your label, bro´s.
If I don´t get signed to a hip hop label or if I start to get sick of hip hop, imma try myself in trance, electro music and ask you to sign me .

Excellent song!
Got a question.. in the very start of this song you use a filter on the drumloop.. You've done this in many songs before, and ... I am just courious on what kind of filter plugin you use for this effect.
I've tried to find an old post you made where you made some "tests" with different filters, and I can't seem to find it... Help?
I need a similar filter effects on a short drumsequence in a song I'm working on right now myself.

Thanx all for the neat feedback on the track and label
@ Magnar, i'm not sure which plugin andy used in this track, but you can use lfx-1310 (free plugin, http://www.luxonix.com/home/en/products.html?id=lfx1310) to achieve this, play with resonance and automate the cutoff.
have fun |
