Hi!
I'm in this crazy mood you get in when you're newly in love. And silly music is the result. This is for my gf, who lives about thousand (brithish) miles, or well.. not really. it's more like 1000 kilometres. nvm.

as a bonus I have some trancey stuff for you. I guess it's kinda influenced with the love feelings too.

Hmm well, it's very calm. And nice. And... Ehm... Cliché But guess that's the idea.
Hmm, the pannings seem to be a bit weird. Or then my speakers are. Anyways, here it sounds like almost anything except the vocals come from the left. Which is a bit distrurbing. The melody is nice. Your voice is quite nice, like it. A bit of broken beat fits quite well into this one. (My roommate, though, thinks your singing sucks. But well...) Hmm, well I guess I have nothing really to say about it. |

Yeah, the cliché is intententional!
Hmm.. haven't noticed that panning issue you talk about. It sounds fine on my speakers.. I haven't even done any panning at all Thanks though! =)
EDIT: I noticed the panning issue today when listning to it on headphones. And I know the reason for the wierdness. It's the settings on my new soundcard. I'll have it fixed 'til tonight! =)
EDIT #2: It shouled be fixed now. I can't be sure since I'm not sure if my soundcard still messes it up. I need to listen from somewhere else to be certain. So please telle me. |

yep. its fixed. haha this song is so cute.
reminds me of some beatles song, or oasis. or something. haha. i like the beat a lot.
i like happy pop songs. its like a happy pop song with a heavy beat.
hey... can you hook up a vocal track? id like to remix this one...
just render the track with the vox. keep all the structure intact. if you can. seriously i can hear some fun stuff with this one...
.subnote. i wonder what made your panning like that. maybe some 3d mode on your card?
the little trancey thing is pretty cool too...
although short. i like piano in trance. its been awhile. |

Good! I think it wasn't the soundcard afterall. Guess I just didn't check stereo interleaved when exporting (in cubase where I did the vox and guitar), but that other.. what's it called. nvm. ^^
Haha, thanks!
Yeah sure! I'm going down town to get me some dinner now (mum's paying yay! haha) getting the vox up later =)
about the trancey, yeah, it's short. I didn't really know where to take it. so I ended it before my head fell apart |

thats cool man, i cant wait. i love working with vocals that arent my own, although i am becoming more comfortable with my own voice.
i like your voice. perhaps a bit pitchy at times but it reminds me of the guy from oasis. plus you do it well, and in that you dont really notice the pitchyness anyways.
cant wait man. |

vocals are up at: http://mighty3k.mine.nu/~Mighty3k/newsongvox.wav
everyone is free to use it! but please don't download if you are not going to use it since the server is located at my parents place and they don't really like me leeching their bandwidth
16bit, 44.1KHz wav
Eb Major
100 bpm
dunno if you need to know more. ^^ if it helps I believe each line is 2 bars.
and thanks for the comments. it's fun to hear people like your voice, especially when you're like me and love to sing! however I think you have to tell me what you mean by "pitchy"
Edit: oh, and tell me if you want the choir too |
