Like in Renoise. Mark and create new instrument with rendered part. And maybe new window with options for this.

For those that aren't familiar with Renoise (like me, for instance), could you elaborate a bit on this? What's it about? Benefits?

Just mark some part of track, or few tracks and export to wave ogg and maybe settings like sample rate, nr channels - Export selection. Mt2 is able only turn off tracks in export(in renoise they say "render"). I forgot to say about autocreate or replace instrument with rendered (exported) part.
