'Ello folks. Just popping in with a remix of Bin酺pilot's "Destroy the Popollution"!
I've got a couple of versions here for posting, an edited version, and the full mix. Only difference between the two is that the edited one has a shorter lead-in and lead-out.
Edit: 160kbps, 5.60mb, 4:43.
[Get the edited mix]
Full: 192kbps, 8.18mb, 5:57.

Enjoy! |

great stuff, creative sounds used, nice balance of elements.
only thing i could think to suggest would be a bit of eqing to make the bass warmer and the highs brighter.
really like it, one of the best tracks ive heard on here for ages. |

[listened to the edited mix]
Not familiar with the original (got a link perhaps?), but I must say I like this mix. It has that sort of techy disco thing going, nice subtle background fx. Generally speaking the track seems to be full of small details and still maintain a clear path and a not too crowded sound (not sure I'm making sense here). Got me thinking about Timo Maas' album "loud", not exactly sure why though
well done! |

I can give the bass a tweak and see how it sounds, sure. I actually tried to raise the highs, but it seems the only way I can actually get them up is by exporting to 96kHz. Makes the leads sound much nicer, but it effectively kills the drums. I really need to look into software for mastering (...Adobe Audition?).

Pow! There it is. :D
I'll definitely have to look into Timo Maas' work, I do enjoy his remixes. :} |

No. Try Izotope Ozone first. It's a VST multi effect plugin that has a lot of the tools that are used for mastering. Read a little about mastering, play around with the tool a little and you'll start getting the idea. |
what is hip?

My bad, I was thinking of "mix-down". But I'll definitely look into that one, thanks. :D |

damn this is nice!!
I love Binarpilot and lollie so combining the 2 is pure brilliance
Anyhooo I think the drums are a bit to rude and loud, and the vocals could be made a bit louder. But other than that I would play this inmidiatly when I get the chance!
I can take shot at the mastering if you want lollie, just send me a mail. |

MM is right, I've been very busy with the new release the past few months.
This remix is by far the best one I've heard. Even though the style is alien to me I really enjoy where you've taken the track. Kudos! |
