Sounds good, especially in the mid.part. but i would try to change piano sample/vsti. this one sounds a little bit to synthetic and cold to me
maybe also a quiet, single string or violin pad going along with the piano at the beginning.
i would also try a single kettle-drum (pauke) going along withe the track (partwise, for example in the way i did in 44 seconds)

i hate signatures |

thanks for your help, vincent.
- i am looking for a better piano sample/vsti, if you have one, let me know...
- a slight string/bass will be added to the piano part for sure.
- the rhythmic (drums) part is so hard for me. i fear, that will take much time, until it really fits...
feel free to comment the track, so i can improve it. like i said, its a "work in progress"... |

To me it's way to synthetic for the sound your going for. Both in the samples and the timing. Better samples would go a long way, about the timing, I don't really know.
The flute thing works well though. |
