Nice track Jay you seem to have real skill for this kinda music. I noticed a couple points were I though u could improve on this one.
1)it should have bass at more parts and the bass should maybe be a little more prominent. The first time I listened I didn't even hear the bass part.
2)Percussion sounds sound like they need some work like the first one that comes in. Maybe thats just me though cause mastering drums is definitely not my area of expertise.
That being said your leads were really nice and I especially liked the bell part, good tone and composition on that aspect. |

Hey thanks a lot for the feedback Soldan... Yeah, the bass does seem pretty subtle on the computer, but Im tellin you, when I put it into a system (my car), it makes itself known, haha. I actually had to turn down a lot of the bass that I use cuz it would drown out the song if I left it at 100%. I had to compare what I was producin to professionally mastered songs to try and get that balance. Trial and error, trial and error. Glad to hear that you liked it, NUMERO UNO on the charts! Needs the right rapper tho... |

Hey Jay...
As always, well mastered. Nice arrangement. The violins are a bit loud. I think, i can hear Edirol Orchestral?
You really should lay some rap vocals over it...
Well done... |

Thanks Amok. I left Edirol Orchestral out of this one... The strings I got from a construction kit named "Off the Hook". They're called "strings hit". I think you're right about the volume as they do seem a bit too loud, but I can turn em down no problem... I only wish I could rap, then I could market myself But once I start makin money thru beats, that wouldnt be such a bad thing.
Edirol Super Quartet is the next thing you should get - has very nice drums, piano, guitar, and bass selections. Also, I remember reading something about crackles: I had songs that would crackle sometimes and I found that turning the ticks down from 6 to 5 would eliminate the crackling. Why, I dont know. I dont fully understand a tick anyway, it just happened to work so I dont question it, haha. |

Sounds quite good, sounds like the kind of Hip Hop bein played nowadays.
I like it the most when the Bassline comes in.
What I also like is the bells.
Hmm maybe I would have set the violins only for the Hookline.
Cause they might steal a bit of variation in the whole track.
But all in all a nice beat!
Peace |
