So you really can compose original material then eh Amok
I was beginning to think you were a remix only artist but this one really impresses me. Your sound isn't really unique in this one but it sure is catchy. At first I though the clap sound was lacking something but I soon forgot about it. The vocals are okay but I think they lack a certain emotion or 'character', also it sounds like maybe they could use some De-essing but its not too apparent I think. On the plus side of the vocals it sounds like you have some reverb or delay on there that fits quite well and the lyrics are pretty catchy. The break thing @ 1:11 seems a little too boring maybe, perhaps you could make a simple chord progression or something there, but others may disagree, as it is brief and happens only once. Also, it sounded like you had some FX in the background at that point that I could barely hear, maybe they could be louder. Actually, the more I listen to this track ( I listened to it about 10 times wile writing this) the less that break bothers me, I don't really mind it at all now.
On the plus side, the arrangement is catchy and the flow stays strong throughout. I like all your instrument sounds, especially that choir thing, which is mixed really well I think, and the mixing in general seems pretty good.
I think the number one thing going for this song is that its quite memorable, or as I say, 'catchy'. That and the solid quality of the mix.
I think the number one thing holding this song back is the lack of originality and innovation, and the fact that this genre may not be very popular anymore.
If I were to buy a CD of this kinda music, I would be happy to have it on there.
Keep up the good work bro |

Thank you, Soldan...
This is more an experiment. I wanted to know how easy it is to produce any commercial crap. And it looks like its pretty simple. The most time the same pattern is playing just overlayed with the vocals. The break is just a placeholder for something more creative.
But at the moment i really need a break of this track. I think i heard it at least 1000 times the last days...
But anyways, thank you very much... |

+ The vocals fit the style very well and are pretty qualitative
+ The break's kind of cool
+ Overall a good structure
- The pad has a to cutting sound to play constantly
- The beat and bass combo doesn't work for me, I'd don't feel like moving to the rhythm.

Maybe it lacks a catchy break or something... You know, the little "technical" moment when the keyboard-guy uses to take a stupid pose or something like that héhé... |
