My indus metal project

Hello

I use Mad tracker to compose "indus metal" songs, well 3/4 of the music is made with it and the remaining is manipulated with Cool edit... It would be nice to have feedback of peoples who actually use the same software and maybe like the same music Smile

Wow man. Shocked I listen to alot of different styles of music: rock, funk, hiphop, classical, rave, etc, but my favorite is quite possibly metal. From British new wave, to thrash, to prog, to black, to death, I listen to it all. And I can honestly say, this is the most hardcore, intense, badass, metal Iv ever heard. Not really my thing though, but still, it sounds quality.

I cant wait to show your stuff to my metal head friends and totally blow their fucking minds. Twisted Evil

Btw, Im wondering if you can explain a little bit about the process of making your music. Not that I expect you to give away any proprietary secrets, but I'm fairly fascinated by what you have going here.

Very creative, I like the fact that you seem to get the maximum out of each component of your music. The synthetic sound pushes the music instead of pulling the quality down. That said, this (an by that i mean industrial music) is not my thing. Still it was fun to hear this, I've honestly never heard anything like it.

Ah ah thanx for the message, it's cool to read it!
It's not really metal, since there's no guitar and all is computer-done... But the influences might show...

The process of making music is kinda like everyone, I think... I just put an idea on mad tracker... Then add more, and more, and more and more stuffs over the initial idea until it sounds like something interesting... Sometimes there's too much beats, riffs and samples so it sounds like nothing, but at least I'm happy haha... The problem is it takes some time to finish something... I have problems to build songs that sound like songs...

Cool!
Well, my stuff is strongly influenced by old fashioned electro indus... I'd advice you to check out old FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY (1990-1997 era or something), in a way I sound like them, but less complex, less technical, and less good... With some Skinny puppy, early NIN (Downward) few Ministry and all these stuffs with some extreme metal..
