hi there...i know, you hate snippets Razz

but well, iīm actually a bit unsure with this. everything today seems to be a "must fit" into a direct known style, else it stays unrecognized and will never be played anywhere.

as long as iīm since years trying to find the best mix between "my style" and the known ones iīm still not sure if the shit i make fitīs into anything...ever Laughing

so cause this i started to produce this one, again with no direct style target, and again with bad (or even not one comment) critics in some german pro forums.

http://tnp.madtracker.net/TNP_Summer_Anthems_Suck.mp3

so maybe...maybe someone could give me a helping hand what i seem to do wrong...

thx for all your comments first Very Happy

g3ronimo, do you mean that the kick is just too silent in compairson with the other instruments or do you mean that it is missing "punch" (the greatest question i ever have all the time...what and how to get a kick more punchy)

there could be some more fx too, thatīs right (well, itīs still just a snippet Wink )

the thing with the bass is something i personaly relie to my speakers...for me here it sounds ok, some ppl tell me itīs far too unpresent, some others say itīs way too loud Question

maybe i should try to compress the bass with the kick after some sidechaining to get it on the same level?

okok, as long as i´m able to learn i rebuild the whole equilizing, sidechaining and mastering from scratch.

and it´s ready btw...not final, but the complete length track.

it would be nice if someone could comment if it now is better or not then the version before (still available in the firstpost)

I don't detect any significant difference between this and the snippet other than the length. The full length version doesn't seem to change much past the point where the snippet ended, and its pretty long, but it doesn't get boring either. I like both versions, everything seems to be in its place doing its job. Nice work.

I think the drums should be a bit louder. Also all the heavy-on-resonance-synths makes it a bit sharp to listen to. But these things aside it's an excellent track, I enjoyed listening. Smile

I agree about the drums!

But this one is truly a nice piece of art!
Sounds very lively!

Well composed, no question!
