Hello!

I'd need some advices or comments on some of my musics... Even if my friends told me good things about them I'd like to get opinions from others madtracker users because I heard very talented music composers around this site. Here are two music of mine, made with madtracker:

The Trance Place ( Hard Trance ):

Paradox ( Soft Trance ):

Thanks for listening and for comments!

the trance place - like it. has a minor tone to it, and the rhythm and percussion meld nicely with the melody. similar to some of the stuff i'm starting to write. i like this one a lot.

paradox - started out catching my attention with the piano. was very curious as to where the melody was going. i couldn't follow it at first. however, once the synths kicked in, it fell in place nicely. overall a very nice piece.

as far as advice? i posted a track a while ago and accidently started a lengthy discussion, wondering if i was getting any better. basic idea that i was able to take from that discussion is that it doesn't really matter how good other people think you are, or what they think of your music. it's what you as an artist enjoy doing.

and there will be people who like your stuff, and people who don't. it's like food: you either have a taste for the chef, or you don't. doesn't mean he's not good a good chef.

i think SX001 said it best ...

I take it this way -- if it makes me feel good and high then its the right thing to me. or as my fellow says "do you think that Bach made music becouse he was damn bored?!"
But when its a very fun process and provides much of joy then thats what matters.

here's the conversation if you're up for a nice long detailed read:

Let's be clear Cool I make music for myself and it's not absolutely necessary for me that people like my music, but I also want to become better and there's some points only another person can "feel" in an objective way: I mean more technical things such as dynamics and mixing.

I know music quality on youtube is by far not the best Confused so I can send the high ( 256kbps ) quality mp3 versions to the interested people...
